Acansa Village

The name for this, first in Arkansas, cohousing community is Acansa Village. - It pays homage to the original inhabitants of this place we call Arkansas, the Indians. Acansa is Qua-paw. It means "southern place" or "downstream people," and it's the origin of the word Arkansas.
We are forming a multigenerational cohousing community in the NW Arkansas and are inviting all interested folks to help build a community in our beautiful area. Our goal is to create an eco-friendly, sustainable neighborhood consisting of 20-30 individual home, with a common house. The Ozarks is known for beauty, and low cost of living, plus multiple outdoor activities such are hiking and kayaking.
