Oakcreek Community

Five years of living together in a very successful community has many wonderful benefits. The work of development is done. The Teams have their responsibilities well defined and their systems working. We have successfully integrated new members into the community as ownership changes by assuring that newcomers are well-oriented and assisted in finding things that they like to do as their contribution to our lives together.

We invite you to come spend a couple of nights in our guest room and get to know us.

For Sale: Two-bedroom, one and one-half bath home with large wrap-around front porch, a slate patio in the back and windows on three sides plus a skylight in the great room and a solar tube in the bathroom for an abundance of natural light. It is extremely well insulated and has large triple-pane windows. Geothermal heat and air results in low utility costs and NO noisy compressor to disrupt the quiet summer evenings outside.

Oakcreek Community cohousing is a 55+ active adult neighborhood of singles and couples who share a common vision of aging-in-place with grace and dignity. All that our community offers enables members to live interdependently longer with healthier and more active social lives.
Oakcreek is conveniently located in the heart of Stillwater, Oklahoma. It is near Oklahoma State University, a revitalized downtown area, Boomer Lake, shopping centers, restaurants, and is approximately one-hour drive from both Tulsa and Oklahoma City. The Stillwater Airport is only 5-10 minutes from Oakcreek.

The 7.5 acre site provides many opportunities to spend time outdoors…walking among the trees, sitting on rocks next to the creek, and chatting with neighbors along the connected sidewalks or on front porches. The walking is carefree thanks to the garages and carports tucked neatly in the corner of the property.

There is also expanded living space beyond your own home in the “Common House”. The Common House features a fully-equipped kitchen for cooking group meals weekly; an inviting dining room with a gas fireplace, skylights, vaulted ceiling, and tranquil views of the grounds; an intimate sitting room which shares the fireplace for meetings or media events; a large living/activity room; laundry facilities; workshop, an office with Wi-Fi; outdoor patio with grill; and guest wing that includes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
