Our Partners
We depend on our Partners to help advance cohousing in America. The Cohousing Association (Coho/US) is a group of dedicated volunteers – and we need you to join with us. While we are delighted that nearly 70 cohousing communities have been built in the United States in recent years, this is just a start.
Here are ways that Partners help Coho/US promote cohousing:
- Underwrite the editorial and technical costs of this website and Cohousing, our online magazine, allowing us to publish it for free to thousands of people who are learning about cohousing for the first time
- Compile effective practices to be posted on this website and shared among completed communities
- Convene regional gatherings of cohousers in regions that have five or more completed communities
- Initiate and promote community tours in several new regions of the country
- Sponsor a national conference and create national training workshops on topics such as project management, membership development and the development process
In short, the Association is working to raise the profile of cohousing, while engaging local cohousing communities to build our network of knowledge, talent and support.
We are not seeking to sell you benefits for joining, but to enlist your help in a shared cause.
